The USA's First Peruvian Street Food Truck.

Live in Downtown Austin.

Real ingredients. Original recipes. No shortcuts. No apologies. Lima’s greatest street food — now parked at 318 E 5th St.

This Is Not Fusion. This Is Peru.

There’s a reason Lima is considered one of the greatest food cities in the world. It’s not a trend. It’s not a moment. It’s thousands of years of culture, ingredients, and tradition that don’t exist anywhere else on earth.

At La Sangucheria, we don’t modify. We don’t substitute. We don’t water it down for a new market. We bring the real thing — the original recipes, the authentic ingredients, the flavors that Peruvians have been perfecting for generations — and we serve them fresh from our truck in the heart of Downtown Austin.

One bite and you’ll understand why people fly to Lima just to eat… Now you don’t have to!

The Sandwich That Broke the Internet

Now in Austin.

Sanguche de Chicharrón — The World's Best Breakfast Sandwich.

It started with a challenge. Ibai — one of Spain’s biggest YouTubers with millions of followers — tried a sandwich on the streets of Lima and called it the best breakfast sandwich in the world. On camera. In front of millions of people.

That sandwich is the Sanguche de Chicharrón.

Slow-cooked fried pork. Criolla salsa of red onion and cilantro. Sweet potato. All packed into bread that only exists in Peru — a pan francés that holds everything together without apology.

We brought it to the United States for the first time. We make it with the original recipe. We use the real ingredients. And we serve it fresh from our truck every single day.

This is not a version of the sandwich. This is the sandwich.

Real Peruvian Street Food.
Nothing Else.

Real Peruvian Street Food. Nothing Else.

Every dish on our menu comes from one place — Lima’s streets, Peru’s traditions, and recipes that have never needed to be changed.

Sanguche de Chicharrón

The world’s best breakfast sandwich. Slow-cooked fried pork, criolla salsa, sweet potato, on authentic pan francés. The sandwich Ibai called the best in the world — now live in Austin.

Pan con Lomo

This is the Sanguche de Lomo Saltado. Peru’s most iconic stir-fry — turned into the sandwich Lima always knew it could be.

Ceviche

Fresh fish cured in lime juice, mixed with red onion, cilantro, and ají amarillo. Peru’s national dish made exactly the way Lima makes it — bright, acidic, and alive.

Lomo Saltado

Stir-fried beef, tomatoes, onions, soy sauce, and French fries — the dish that proves Peru invented fusion before fusion was a word. Served hot, served fast, served right.

Leche de Tigre

The liquid gold left at the bottom of a ceviche bowl. Peru’s most powerful shot — citrus, ají, and fish stock that Peruvians swear cures everything. One sip and you’ll believe them.

Chicha Morada

Purple Andean corn, simmered with pineapple skin, cinnamon, clove, and fresh lime. A 3,000-year-old Peruvian recipe served cold. Not a juice. Not a soda. An experience.

Passion Fruit Juice

Fresh. Tropical. Unfiltered. The flavor of Peru in a cup.

Mango

Sun-ripened. Pure. The way nature intended it.

Why La Sangucheria Hits Different

100% Authentic

We use the original recipes passed down through Peruvian culinary tradition. No modifications. No substitutions. No shortcuts. What you eat at La Sangucheria is what they eat on the streets of Lima.

Real Ingredients

Every ingredient we use is selected for authenticity and quality. The ají amarillo. The purple corn. The pan francés. If it’s not right, it doesn’t make it to your plate.

Born on the Street

Peruvian street food is not a concept — it’s a culture. La Sangucheria was built to honor that culture and bring it to the streets of Downtown Austin exactly the way it lives in Lima.

First in the USA

We are the first Peruvian street food truck in the United States. This is not a replica of something that already exists here. This is the original — planted in Austin, Texas for the first time.

Come Find the Truck

Whether you’re powering through a weekday lunch, hunting the best brunch in Austin, or walking off a Saturday night — La Sangucheria is your spot.

We’re parked in the heart of Downtown Austin and ready to change how you think about breakfast, lunch, and everything in between.
